Project Life | Week 1

Today I'm sharing the beginning of my Project Life 2016 album. Only a few weeks later than I previously wanted, but all of my attention had previously been on a set of invitations that needed to be finished sooner than later. But those are done, so I've caught up on most of my other projects.

Here's my 2016 title page. I used various digital stamps from Ali Edwards and typed a quote out for the top card.

Here's Week 1. Really simple. Really just the right page of this spread, but I love how it looks.

 The left side; More Ali Edwards stamps, and another typed quote. I haven't stitched the pockets with the numbers closed yet because I've been trying to decide if I want to add something to the pocket with them, or if I want to paint the back of the chipboard. The numbers are from a past Ali Edwards December Daily kit, but you can find other chipboard letters & numbers of this size in her shop (here).

The right side; These three photos basically sum up the first 3 days of January. I thought about just combining week 1 & 2 into on full spread, but decided that since I had one photo from each day, and this weird half spread that it would work fine. I used this set of cards from Laurel Lane Designs. Originally I bought them to create a spread and apply for her creative team, but ended up not applying.
