Today I'm sharing Week 42. On Wednesday I'm sharing Week 43 and then taking a bit of time off to enjoy Christmas. I'm so excited for Turkey, family, and the magic of Christmas.
Here's the left side. I just realized that I never shared the fall mini album I made during this week. Putting a note in my planner to do it sometime in January.
Here's the right side. I used a couple of sneak peek photos to document two spreads, and finally finishing off my Dauphin album. This was a very crafty week!
Thanks for coming by to see this quick post about this spread.
Have a great day!

Project Life | Week 41
Last week was a little crazy for us, so I moved around my plan for my posts, and managed to fit everything in. On Wednesday and Friday of this week, I'm sharing the first half of my December Daily album. I've been working really hard to keep up, but I keep changing things around and I'm trying to document the month, but trying to do so in a way that will fit in the album I'm currently using, but the rings aren't as big as I expected and its a little bit of a struggle to fit everything, so we'll see how that goes. Today I'm sharing my spreads for Week 41.
Here's the left side. Not one of my best spreads, but I'm at the point in the year where I just want to get it done and documented. It's around this point that I wonder why I didn't just do month spreads, or why it's so hard to make little notes about my weeks so I can use more words.
Here's the right side. That photo of my nephew with my mom and the cat is my favourite. I love that it captures his personality right now, almost perfectly. I also love that photo of my boots. They're so pretty, and I wear them almost literally all the time!
Thanks for coming by to see this quick post about week 41. Hopefully in the new year I'll get those mini albums I document in this spread, finished.
Have a great day!

Project Life | Week 30
Today I'm sharing week 30. This week was one of those weeks. The wedding is getting closer, everyone is stressing a little bit because there are things they should be addressing, but they're not. It was a mess. Jon and I worked all of this week, and our stress levels were higher than they should have been. This week I used Studio Calico, one water colour card, and Kellie Stamps.
Left side; Gracie being as adorable as ever. Work being as busy as ever. Thriving in my thrive shirt. We had a family of skunks living in our neighborhood, possibly under our shed, and we were all a little concerned about being outside and accidentally scaring them. That skunk card from Studio Calico was perfect for documenting this.
Right side; a trip to lloyd to pick up some things on my only day off this week. Got shoes for the wedding, not any of the ones I'd been looking at, met my little sisters' boyfriend for the first time, laughed about the boat being parked close to a puddle, and watched some rain on the drive home.
Thanks for coming by to see my spread this week. On Wednesday I'm sharing some photos of the invitations I made for Jon's sister and her now husband's wedding. I'm so proud of them, but wish things had gone differently.
Have a great day!

Project Life | Week 29
Today I'm sharing week 29. More photos this week, less crafty projects. Still Studio Calico cards. I have quite the stash I'm trying to get through, but I'm apparently not using enough of them!
Left side; It's getting close and closer to his sister's wedding and we can all feel the pressure building. Meanwhile, a couple of new flowers bloomed in the back flowerbed. I snapped photos to ask my gardening partner about them. The orange one is a type of Lily and the purple one is bluebells. Our watermelon had a face too ripe to eat. Shoe shopping online and trying to decide if I wanted white or black shoes.
Right side; It finally rained a bit. After a summer with almost no rain, we finally got some. I love that it made everything green again! I finished painting my file cabinet. Of course I didn't take any before, or during photos, but I have a nice white file cabinet and that's all I care about. I had several layouts in the works at this time, and continually left them sitting out on my desk in the hopes that I'd work on them. The bottom ones were finished, but the navy ones are all works in progress.
Thanks for coming by to see this spread. I'll be back on Wednesday sharing another project.

Project Life | Week 27 & 28
Today I'm sharing Week 27 & 28. I had a similar layout last year, where I shared two weeks in the same two page spread. This week was one of those ones where you're caught up in all the craziness of life and don't take many photos. This week I used Studio Calico, some of my watercoloured cards and Kellie Stamps.
Left side; This side is week 27. I started working on my first embroidered layout this week. I was trying to relax after the stress of everything going on lately. It helped immensely, and I see more embroidery happening in my future. And of course, not one but two cute Gracie photos.
The right side; week 28. The top left photo is my "arrivals" report at work. It tells me who's checking in, what room they're checking into, and gives me a total check in number. I covered the sensitive information before I took the photo, and journaled on that blank space. Another cute Gracie photo, the finished embroidered page, and the Week in the Life photo I shared on Instagram, and my blog.
I understand that this spread doesn't quite cover everything that was going on during those two weeks, but I'm okay with that. I don't want to remember how close I was to having a mental breakdown, or how much Jon and I were arguing those two weeks. I realize that's part of our story, but I don't want to devote an entire page to documenting that because I don't have enough photos to fill the page.
I'll see you all on Wednesday when I share Saturday of my Week in the Life album. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Project Life | Week 26
Happy Monday friends! Today I'm sharing a layout that was a little more creative than past spreads. This week I used some watercolour cards that I made. I mixed in some Studio Calico cards and some Kellie Stamps (again).
Left side; I wanted to make this spread bright and fun so I used yellow and red cards. When I looked at that lemon card I thought "what in the world, would I use this for?" This spread has nothing to do with lemons, but the colours matched.
Look at my adorable nephew! And then look at my ridiculous cat. These two photos make this spread one of my favourites so far this year.
Right side; Wine. That is all. Just kidding, I included a shot of the weather forecast for the week because towards the end of the week we had the hottest days of the year. Thank god we got our A/C put in on the hottest day of the year, in the early morning hours.
Jon made some delicious burgers this week, we played boardgames and had wine, and a beautiful sunsnet. I love that in the summer the sun sets later so I can catch a bit of it after I leave work at 10:00pm.
Thank you so much for coming by to see this spread. I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and use some of the embellishments I've accumulated but never seem to use for various reasons. I'll see you all on Wednesday when I share Thursday of my Week in The Life album. Have a wonderful day!

Project Life | Week 25
So much coffee being had today. I've noticed that I generally drink more on Mondays. No reason really, Mondays are actually my work Thursday, so you'd think I would drink less coffee. Anyway, today I'm sharing week 25. More Studio Calico cards this week, and a stamp from Kellie Stamps (here), though that set isn't currently available, she's working on re-releasing some of her old sets in digital.
The left side; I hadn't planned to document two layouts this week, but I had few photos (as usual lately). I used Kellie Stamps on two of the cards (this is bullshit and summer view).
The right side; it wouldn't be my life if it didn't have an adorable photo of Gracie, and a picture of my desk at work. When we stopped for ice cream after work I snapped a photo because it was something we were doing quite often, and deserved to be documented.
The bottom left card is a photo of the birthday card I made my mom. We had dinner this week with the family to celebrate her birthday and my Uncle's birthday (we do them together in June even though her birthday is in July, and his is in June).
Thanks for coming by to see my spread for this week. On Wednesday I'm sharing some more of my Week In The Life album (Tuesday). I'll see you all back here in a couple days.
Have a great day!

Project Life | Week 24
It's Monday again, and today I'm sharing week 24. Another spread I had finished a while ago, but didn't photograph. I used cards from Studio Calico, and the title card came from a Becky Higgins kit, I just can't remember which one. Possibly a Dear Lizzy mini kit.
The left side. The girl on the train was so good, I couldn't out it down! Those Thrive t-shirts were sold to help Jen Lake pay for another surgery, you can learn more about her here. I gave one away, and bought a bunch for myself, and a few for my mom and my sister. Jon even got on board so I bought him a couple. The bottom right photo makes me laugh. Jon holds Gracie like a baby, and he did it while we were playing Settlers' of Catan. It was cute!
The right side. A lot less going on, but documented my organizing and creative endeavours this week. Finished a second book as well. It's no wonder I'm so far ahead of my challenge.
Thanks for coming by to check out this spread. I know it's nothing fancy, but this system was designed to be simple, and I'm a simple person.
Have a great day! I'll be back on Wednesday sharing a 23 post. This one is 23 Things About Me.

Project Life | Week 23
Monday already? Today I'm sharing Week 23 of my Project Life. I often wonder why I don't simply share the full spread and call it good. I don't really embellish my pages, and they're generally simple. This week I used some more Studio Calico cards and a sticker from my stash.
Here's the left side. I usually use alphabet stickers for my title, but because the words on the card look hand written, I just used my white pen to write the week.
Here's the right side. The circle camera on the green card was punched from another card and just glued to that one. I added the chipboard glasses from My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste line. They've been in my stash forever and I finally got around to using them. I stuck the spring card to a patterned card because I didn't have a photo for that slot.
I've noticed that as I get further and further into the year, I take less and less photos. My routines become mundane, and I feel like I've documented them a hundred times already. Not that it's a bad thing to document similar things over and over (I have probably a thousand photos of my desk), I just can't bring myself to take a photo of my coffee cup every day. Maybe next year.
Have a great day! I'll be back on Wednesday sharing some 3x4 cards I made using some Kellie Stamps from my stash.
