Today I'm sharing two layouts I made using the AM TO PM digital set of Kellie Stamps (available here) also available as a physical set, but only as a pre-order and only until March 15th. I'm so excited that Kellie brought back physical stamps, even if you have to wait a while to get them.
I made two layouts using the same cut from my Silhouette Cameo and the Love digital stamp from the AM TO PM set. One background has the individual letters and the other has the leftover piece and is backed with an old Dear Lizzy pattern paper. I love the white on white of the right back ground, but wanted to switch it up for the other one, so I used a floral paper.
Here's the first layout. I wanted the background to show a lot, so I used a 4x4 photo and kept my embellishments really simple and clustered together on one side.
Labels are probably my best friend. I layered some printable labels that I printed on cardstock and vellum, and added an old chipboard heart and some phrase stickers. The "I love you" sentiment is also available in the set, I cut it with the Silhouette and just glued it on top of the photo and added a heart sticker.
I stamped the date on another label, and stuck it along with some very old My Mind's Eye phrase stickers on the top of the photo.
Here's the second layout. I used an old Ali Edwards stamp to add a little something extra to the background. Originally I was just going to throw all these letters into a box and use them later, if ever, so I didn't cut the center of the circle, but then I made this background and wanted something else on the o's.
Lately my style has gone way more simple. One photo and some clustered embellishments. I'm trying to use my stash instead of hoarding all the pretty embellishments. Some of these are old Shimelle embellishments, and some are from past Story Kits, and the little polka dot heart is an old Freckled Fawn, and the tag was from Studio Calico.
I cut a 3x4 journaling card in half and tucked it under the edge of the photo to hold my journaling. I love all the texture and layers on this spread.
Thanks for coming by to see these spreads. I have a few projects in the works using other Kellie Stamps products as well, and my plan is to share them throughout the rest of the month. You can follow Kellie Stamps on Instagram (here) to see what some of the other creative team ladies are sharing and working on. Later this month there's been talk of an Instagram hop to show off what some of the girls have done with the physical set, so you won't want to miss that!

Studio Calico: Walden Card Kit
Good morning! I know this card kit is a little overdue (it was released in November), but sometimes I let my card kits pile up, then pull out a few and work on them over a weekend just to get them off the shelf. In this case, I needed a blog topic, so I worked on this card kit (and the December one).
For this card, I used some scrap pieces, and this stamp from Ali Edwards. I love thank you cards. There's just something about showing someone how much you appreciate them, even if it's just with a simple card.
I loved the little plastic label-like sentiments that were included in this kit. I used every single one of them!
Inside the little wood veneer arrow, it says "hooray for sweater weather". Jon loves this card, I just wanted to use the orange cloud paper.
I used some scrap strips to look like washitape at the top and bottom of my sentiment. I loved the nuts about you sentiment. I wanted to use the little acorn stamp, but I only have one shade of brown, and it didn't look good all one shade of brown, so I used the nuts about you stamp like this.
I also couldn't get the apple stamp to look like an apple so I just used the "you're the apple of my eye" sentiment by itself. I think it looks fine. I added some diamond washitape along the edge where the papers met to hide the seam.
My favourite card! I love the pale colours, and the wood veneer heart is the perfect size. I wrapped the yellow ribbon around the seam and adhered it to the back of the patterned papers. Still love love love those plastic sentiments.
My favourite paper in the whole kit. I love looking at it. I almost want to make it into wallpaper and make an accent wall with it.
Used some scraps, and more diamond washitape and another plastic sentiment on this card. I love the look of it!
Thanks for coming by to check out the cards I made using the Walden card kit from Studio Calico. I hope you have a great day!

Love Themed Mini Album
Good morning! I'm so excited with how most of this mini album turned out. I wish I could make a mini album that was just one thing, but I can't, and I'm okay with that. This was supposed to be about our relationship. Originally FIRSTS from our relationship (inspired by the Story Stamp from Ali Edwards), but it became just a variety of things I love about our relationship, and Jon, and a few firsts from our relationship. It's messy and full of love, and that's basically all I was hoping for with this project.
This album is so full of love that I have to tie it closed to keep it from bursting open. I love it so much. Each one of those tags sticking out, is sandwiched between two photos of memories, and tucked into the pockets I made between each page. I'd like to thank Celine Navarro for her class at Studio Calico that taught me how to make this album from scratch. Perhaps in the future, I'll share a bit of that with all of you!
Here's the cover of the album. Isn't it just beautiful? Pink is definitely not my favourite color, but I just love the way this looks. Originally I was just going to make it, throw in some pink love-y paper for the pages, and sell it or give it away. But after I embellished this beautiful cover, I knew I was going to keep it for myself. I'm so glad I did. The black doily is from My Minds Eye (Sweetest Thing) I cut it in half and stuck it down in two places. The ticket to my heart sticker is also from that line. The arrow is from Maggie Holmes (Open Book) the chipboard hearts are from Studio Calico, and the love thicker is by Amy Tangerine. I used some old white sheets and dyed them different shades of pink using food coloring and water.
Here's What it looks like when you open it. On the left I used some word stickers from MME Sweetest Thing to create a short list of things I love about Jon. I stamped the date the photo was taken in a few places, and tried to do this where I remembered when the photo was taken.
Inside the pocket I included a photo of us from early in our relationship, and a collage I made a few months later.
The photos that were attached to the tag and slipped into the pocket.
Here I used my Firsts stamp set from Ali Edwards. I documented our first date, kiss, I love you's and adventure. I told the stories about each of them and included a collage of one of our trips and a selfie in the pocket.
This page has photos in the pocket, but I wasn't comfortable sharing them here. Nothing super inappropriate, but I don't think Jon would appreciate me sharing shirtless photos of him on the internet. (And none of you need to see that anyways).
I kept this page pretty simple. The pattern paper was super busy so I just stuck down a vellum circle and some heart stickers along with a recent selfie and a little journaling. I don't know why there's an acorn on this page (tucked under the tag) I definitely do not remember putting it there, but I might leave it.
I ran out of photo paper so this page doesn't have a photo in the pocket. I used some chipboard stickers from My Minds Eye (Market Street I think). It says "Perhaps it is our imperfections that make us so perfect for one another". It's perfect for this photo. Jon and I have so few pictures of the two of us, and since I (sorry for being so blunt here) got fat, I try and avoid them whenever possible.
The final page is from our first Christmas in our first house together. The bell ornament my mom made me for that year. It's so pretty and I love her for making it for us. It will always be front and center on our tree. Eventually our goal is to replace our set of purchased ornaments with ones from family that mean something to us. I almost want to write the year on all of them, but I'm pretty sure they're all documented in our Project Life at some point.
Thanks for coming to see this album. It's very similar to how I made the Vintage Book album, but instead of using a book cover as my base, I just used some chipboard from the back side of one of those giant fridge calendars. It worked perfectly and was thin enough that I could stitch the fabric down around the edges, plus you can make it any size you want!
Have a great day!

A Gift Full of Love
Good morning! Today I'm sharing the one gift this year, that I was beyond excited to GIVE. My niece and I spent a lot of time together in 2014. I made an effort to see her at least once a week, even if it was only for 10 minutes before her T-ball practice. I love taking pictures of the things we do together, and I have all
these pictures of her that I wanted to share with her. I know I could
have just created a photo book, or put them all into a photo album and
gave that to her, but I wanted to put some love into it. Every single
page of this book has a memory, something I love about her, and/or
something I hope she holds onto when she's older.
She just turned 4, so she obviously can't read yet. But my hope, is that when she's older, she realizes just how precious something like this is. All the products are from my stash, all the cutfiles are from www.iheartstudio.ca or are from the 30 Days of Me class at Studio Calico. I'm not typing too much in this post, mostly because there's a lot of photos. I snapped all of these really quickly before I gave her the album, so some of them aren't the greatest, and if I'd had more time I would have split them up into two page spreads to share each week. I would have also loved to have shared the products, and a few suggestions, or techniques, but if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or e-mail me.
This pocket page is from Studio Calico. One thing I hate is that the pockets are weird sizes, like 2 1/4" square, and 3 1/2" square. I made it work by printing the photo larger and trimming it down to fit. I used scrapbook paper in the other pockets and just trimmed it to fit. I added a sequin pocket in the colors from this page and the next.
I had printed these pictures first, and just mounted them on white cardstock and slipped them into the pockets.
For the see-through pocket on this page, I found two circle stickers that were the same size and just stuck them back to back and sewed the pocket shut so it wouldn't slide out.
This is another pocket page from Studio Calico. It has six 2 1/4" pockets. I printed some photos and trimmed them down. I added a triple heart die cut and some sequins to the pocket next to the journaling.

One of my goals for 2015, is to do more traditional scrapbooking. I have a bunch of embellishments, and given that my Project Life style seems to be pretty clean and simple, I need somewhere to use all those papers and pretty embellishments I keep hoarding!
Thank you for coming by to see this album. I put a lot of love into it, and I hope it's something she treasures for years to come.
